60 Mins & Strides

LOAD: 22

60 Mins @ Easy Pace (RPE: 2-3)

8 x 100 metre Strides (RPE: 8)
60 Second Recoveries

Best done in a group!! Keep the RPE down, so you should be able to chat. Don’t forget those strides. They are very important. Enjoy.

What about trying one of the HR runs if you can get transport? Good to run with others if the opportunity is there. Another option is BRT intervals on Wednesday. I joined them once, great bunch and were more than happy for me to run with them, just needed to notify them I was going to be there. That was the evening I saw you doing your own session on the seafront.

FEEDBACK

ENJOYMENT

RPE

😁 Good pace given the conditions/route

PACE

That turned out better than I thought, as the first 5 minutes felt awful! It’s been quite a full on week, with lots of family stuff going on, and of course my ridiculous bike ride. Trying not too be to hard on myself about missing the hill session, but that doesn’t come naturally! However, today marks one year of sobriety for me, so I’ve got a lot to be grateful for
Joe Cruttenden
The bike ride has the same training points as the hill sessions you missed. So it’s a straight swap. Doing both would have been a mistake so you’re still on track this week to hit your targets so no reason at all to be disappointed. And no exercise is ridiculous. So you have been a little tough on yourself. Really well done for the 12 months of sobriety. A fantastic achievement and so much to look forward to over the next few years. Well done Joe!!
