180 Mins

LOAD: 54

180 Mins @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3-6)

Time to make sure your fuelling and hydration is on point. 30-60g of carbs per hour. The longer the run goes on the tougher it will get.

You hate me don’t you? That’s ok. You can say it. But then you have entered the Rye Ancient Trails 30k and Beachy Head Marathon and I think it’s important to have the perspective that 3 hours is actually relatively short compared to those 🤔 You got this Jo!!

FEEDBACK

ENJOYMENT

RPE

🤬 Way off pace today

PACE

Was really looking forward to getting out on my own, no time pressure. Started ok but knees really tied up uphill. Disappointed really but 13 miles in the bag still

The fact you’ve been able to run for 3 hours, a week after a marathon on the SDW is really positive. So I wouldn’t be disappointed at all. Our fitness comes from the cumulative effect of all the miles we do in our training, so even if you have a run like this where the pace is slower, it’s still going to really benefit you. So well done Jo.
