Long Run – 120 Mins

LOAD: 350

120 Mins @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3-5)

2 hours is a long time to run and it’s likely it will get tough in the last 30 mins. So dig deep, focus on good form and keep going. You got this!

I had initially done 45 mins Saturday, 90 mins Sunday, but appreciate the shorter time doesn’t always work out well with the group. Entirely up to you if you wanted to do this all Saturday, or divide it across both days, or just Sunday (so many options).

It was like the pied piper this morning. Su, Lou, Klare and I all ran from our homes and met up one by one on an agreed route! A 120 easy as per plan, with the PR at the end which was a little quicker but not fast. 11 miles covered at an average pace of 10.53 although the last mile was 9.25 so I still had something left in my legs.

I like that description. Whenever I try and plan that, I always end up missing someone. Including a few weeks ago and the missing member was not happy. Glad it worked out and nice to get the long run done so you don’t have to worry about heading out tomorrow. I really hope Andy feels better soon.
