A good opportunity to practice some marathon pace on your long run. Crucial if you have a time in mind. Also sometimes a good option to add some variety to a normal 2 hour long run.

Nice bit of variety to the long run and just gets you thinking about form and what it takes to run that little bit quicker but still keep the RPE down. For me it’s about picking up the cadence a little, running tall and keeping my arms efficient. I have the exact same session on this day, so you’re in good company.

Not the best but it happened! It was ok as a session, I liked the chunked times, makes it less daunting! I did run a fave route so that was nice!

Yeah sometimes it’s just about getting it done. I’m glad you enjoyed the breakdown. I find that helps divide the run up and it can feel like less of a chore. Having done this same session myself and struggled I can certainly relate to it. So excellent work Kirsty.
