60 Min Easy Run

LOAD: 150

60 Mins @ Easy Pace (RPE: 2-3)

Keep the effort level to around 3 or 4 on the RPE scale. Focus on good form and don’t get lazy. Often the best run of the week 😁

Around 8 miles if you want to plot a route to distance, slightly less if exclusively on the trails.

Great run to be honest ran with heart rate on watch not pace tried to keep around middle zone 2 to see where the pace would lie. Seamed that around 7min mile is the place. I think my fitness is coming back after having a little dip from the forest of dean. Feeling goo at this point so far.

I do like that idea of just paying attention to the heart rate, that way on the days you feel good you’re not forcing yourself to slow down with the pace. Loving the positive vibes as well. To be honest we almost want a dip post race, just to have that bit of recovery, and now we have a few weeks of maintaining this level before kicking on and taking your fitness to the next level 8-10 weeks leading up to the race. Nice to see you out there as well Steve.
