60 Mins Easy (Hills)

LOAD: 210

60 Mins @ Easy Pace (RPE: 2-5)

60 mins on the flat is quite different to 60 mins on the hills. So it’s important to differentiate between the two and if you do a hilly easy run, to account for that extra training load and how it might impact the rest of your week.

Pretty kind week with just the 3 sessions so hopefully the knee is grateful. Leading the HR gang. πŸ–€πŸ’š The only reason I rarely attend these is I lead Sundays, coach track Mondays, coach Tuesday evening, my brain is fried come Wednesdays and some solo headspace really helps me.

I fully appreciate needing headspace. 15 tonight so a bit to manage but it went well. Knee felt fine but it was a slow pace. I did do one push with Sam and Stuart up vale road for some fun and that felt great.

Yeah that’s a lot to deal with. My Sunday run was a complete shit show from run leader perspective with some runners just refusing to loop back πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ I appreciate you leading, so thank you πŸ’šπŸ–€ Nice to have a bit of a showdown too. Always good fun. Glad the knee was ok today as well. Some promising feedback from that of late.
