Seaford 10K

LOAD: 410

2km WU @ Easy Pace (RPE: 2)

10k @ 10k Pace (RPE: 6-9)

2km CD @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

Looks a fast flat route, taking in Seaford prom and then a bit of narrow path. If the wind is light an excellent chance to run a fast 10K.

It’s important sometimes to be aware we are not always chasing PBs/ The 10k PB box has been ticked this year. So we can lessen the expectations a little here. That’s not to say we don’t want to run a good race, but there’s no need to push yourself to the limit chasing the PB. Anything around 60-62 mins would still be very good. And of course it will depend how warm it is.

Did my warm up trying out 3 pair of trainers to see which one would give my foot the best support so did not log it. Delighted with race as I was not sure if I would be able to get round, stayed strong and very surprised that I was able to keep my pace consistent. Thank you for your support near the end.
Mark Dunn
You smashed it. To hit your targets in those conditions was superb and you were so strong at the end. It was nice to be able to run back and follow you in for a few minutes. Superb running Mark and all round a really good day.
