60 Min Easy Run

LOAD: 150

60 Mins @ Easy Pace (RPE: 2-3)

Keep the effort level to around 3 or 4 on the RPE scale. Focus on good form and don’t get lazy. Often the best run of the week 😁

Wednesday with the club. I really feel this is the one week to give yourself that rest on Monday. Having done such a big session Sunday it would be silly to run the day after. Is it worth risking an injury this close to London for one run, take the rest.

Felt good. Quite a hilly route. But a good chatty run. Probably a little too quick than you would suggest I did! Sorry!

I think pace shouldn’t really be the decisive factor, if the effort is low I’m happy. It was more Sunday’s run that worried me as I’ve seen it a few times in the past were people run an excellent 20 miler at goal pace 3 weeks out, but then don’t quite recover in time for the race and then end up struggling, so that’s all. But I think you’ll be fine, especially if we keep the mileage and pace down this weekend. Well done Lindsey, nice to be running in daylight again.
