10 Sec Hill Sprints

LOAD: 50

10 Second Hill Sprints @ All In Pace (RPE: 9)
60 Seconds Recovery

4-8 Reps

Similar to strides in that they can help improve your form. Also good to get some speed in the legs and work the anaerobic energy system.

8 Reps!! I do like these, much better than strides right? Always handy for you at the end of an easy run so you can slowly make your way up the hill doing these. Unless you’ve gone to Horntye 🙄

I only managed 4… for a few reasons but if I’m being totally honest it’s that I was so close to home and was desperate for a wee! Felt tired after that hilly run but these hill sprints felt OK, not really niggling. But I didn’t want to pee up against a neighbour’s wall/door/window…

😂 No worries. If the opportunity to smash out 4 strides later in the week presents itself then take it. Glad you didn’t get caught pissing in public.
