Easy parkrun

parkrun @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

Always nice to be involved in parkrun but some weeks it’s best to run it easy. Try not to get caught up and run too fast.

Chance just to cruise along for an easy parkrun!! A good test actually to hold back with the pace despite feeling strong. Something you’ll need to do to some degree at London.

7’29” minute miles and very relaxed. Nice feeling not pushing it. Will be quite a change to push harder next week. 21 minutes should be good. 20 minutes might be harder than I want to push this side of the marathon. Will see how I feel next week

I agree to be honest. It’s a bit too close to push for 20 mins. If something went wrong we’d feel pretty stupid, so following the 21 pacer would be a much better approach and run a solid time.
