HR Spring 5K

LOAD: 250

10 Mins WU @ Easy Pace (RPE: 2)

5K @ 5k Pace (RPE: 8)

10 Mins CD @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

In Bexhill now. Fast flat route. Ideal for a quick time. Pace yourself at the start and then in those final few kms try and beat those ahead of you and not be overtaken.

Really good event this. Look to keep the pace consistent, especially early on, running the first 2-3 km in just under 5:00 and then picking up the pace and overtaking people towards the finish. No doubt a few will be amazed when a 72 year old tears past them at speed.

Target Time: 24:35 Target Pace: 4:55

What can say , after not feeling to good went out to do a PB , you might not believe in future. Went out fast because of wind , was able to put mor in for the last k , was pleased with my splits , still more to came, no injuries or niggles .I will have to decide on my future races

Superb. What a performance and so good to see you smiling at the end. Forget the times and the PB, just having you there for these races makes them more enjoyable for everyone else and that is a beautiful quality to have in life. Thank you Allan for making me and the others happy.
