HR Spring 5K

LOAD: 250

10 Mins WU @ Easy Pace (RPE: 2)

5K @ 5k Pace (RPE: 8)

10 Mins CD @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

In Bexhill now. Fast flat route. Ideal for a quick time. Pace yourself at the start and then in those final few kms try and beat those ahead of you and not be overtaken.

I think you’re probably a little quicker than you realise. In terms of effort if you run a good 5k, then first half should feel comfortably hard, then from there on in, it’s like doing a ridiculously long track or intervals rep. But keep going, use those in front as a target to chase down. Setting target times is never easy and obviously it will be weather dependant, but I think anything under 30 mins is a good result. Very best of luck.

Target Time: 29:30 Target Pace: 9:30

You were right…again. Happy with that. Best 5k for a while that’s for sure!

You looked so happy at the end which makes me so happy too. Superb running. I just feel this real sense of positivity from you right now and almost like your glowing. It’s fantastic. Excellent running Philippa.
