Long Run – 120 Mins

LOAD: 350

120 Mins @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3-5)

2 hours is a long time to run and it’s likely it will get tough in the last 30 mins. So dig deep, focus on good form and keep going. You got this!

Enjoy this as the time starts to pick up after this one as we begin to keep one eye on the ultra.

Bit of a nightmare getting there due to road closures but made it slightly late. Really enjoyed the route. Felt a bit of a struggle at times Said to Sue I’m struggling to get out of my head at the moment and not think about the running but just switch off and think about something else. Then I’m stopping and starting a bit more than I would like too but probably to do with injuries and being more aware of my body at the moment. Loved a bit of trail and chatting to people.

So pleased to see you when you joined in slightly late. It’s not the easiest route that and we did a decent bit of elevation. Plus 2 hours is always a long way, we just get so used to it, we feel it should be easy. But glad you were able to run with the others and chat for a bit. If you can let the mind wander it does help. But I appreciate when it feels tough it’s harder to do. But another decent run ticked off, so loads to be happy with. Excellent work Alice.
