240 Min Long Run

LOAD: 850

240 Mins @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3-8)

All about time on feet. Don’t push the pace early on and ensure you are well hydrated and have fuel to take on at regular intervals.

I’m keen to put in a big one this week as we’ve not had one for a while. If you are feeling tired, the original plan was 3.5 hours, but I feel like 4 hours is just a bigger confidence booster in terms of time on feet.

Funnily enough, after my recent comment, I had some ankle pain for the first time in a while… but I’m happy to ignore it now I know I could do 50 miles without it being a significant problem! Great to explore new routes to keep it interesting, though a few places gave me the heebiejeebies so I won’t run quite that route again! Had a few seriously overgrown paths too- bit of nettle wading at times! Fitness no problem though!

So impressed you managed to fit this in and get in done. Respect. Yeah I hate the nettles, it’s so frustrating when the paths get overgrown like that. Just at the time when the trails are very runnable as well. But nice to explore new routes. Glad you are ok though as Cows and Electric Fences don’t sound like an ideal combination 😂 Great running Anna.
