Gym Workout

Focus on good form. Keep the recoveries to 60 secs and let me know once any exercise feels comfortable.

The stair master is also said to be very good for us runners, so 10 mins on there once a week might be an idea, it could be a good warm up for your gym workout.

The stairmaster is a brain numbing instrument of torture!! I managed 5 mins. 🤣🤣 Will keep at it though; they’re supposed to be good for building hill strength. With the weights I did squats, calf raises and deadlifts. Did 1 set of Bulgarians but my IT band was hurting so backed off. Then concentrated on core and upper body. Chest press, lat pull down, TRX rows and weighted dead bugs. I’m also working on getting to a full Cossack squat and pistol squat so did some of those supported by the TRX. All a bit random but good fun and worked hard.

That sounds like a really good workout. I appreciate some of the team prefer to have that flexibility with the S&C. But hopefully the accountability still helps and the odd suggestion I can contribute will help. I know right, time stands still on the stair master, I used to manage 10 mins when I was a member. So that’s a good start. Well done Sue.
