Often our biggest critics can be ourselves. We seek perfection and when we fail to achieve that impossible goal, we berate ourselves. It’s madness. Yet I am one of the biggest culprits.
Running can help change this. When we run there is an increase in electrical activity in key areas in the brain that are used for processing emotions and storing memories.
So stop being so hard on yourself, lace up and you might just be surprised what you can achieve. There are runners on here who have gone from barely being able to run to the end of the street, to completing a marathon. You too could achieve that.
