LOAD: 45

2km WU @ Easy Pace (RPE: 2)

10.3km @ HM – Marathon Pace (RPE: 6-9)

2km CD @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

Hard to set a pace given the elevation. A tough route but a great race. Can be done as an easy run if you prefer. VIEW THE ROUTE.

Nice and easy. No need to push too hard here. Perhaps sit back in the first two laps and then pick up the effort so you can over take a few runners towards the end. Good luck Kelly.

I don’t want to sound like every bit of feedback is me moaning so I’m not gonna write too much here except to say I found that hard like most people did. My foot went completely numb and I was actually concerned about rolling it. I believe linked to the glute and what potentially might be a trapped nerve now. Needless to say it’s actually made me contact the doctor. Hoping it gets sorted because I am really struggling with running at the moment.

I did notice you looked like you were struggling. That doesn’t sound right at all, so you are doing the right thing in getting it checked out. That is a savage route and very difficult, so well done for showing up and getting it done. Hopefully going down the route of the GP can help you get answers. Well done Kelly.
