Robertsbridge Midsummer 10K

LOAD: 41

2km WU @ Easy Pace (RPE: 2)

10k @ HM Pace (RPE: 6-9)

2km @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

A new route for 2025 so it’s only 1 lap for the 10k. Quite an undulating course with some trails so likely your pace will be quite a bit slowly than a normal 10k. Good Luck.

Not necessarily a race to be chasing a time but you should approach this with a lot of confidence. You are now one of the fastest females in the club and there could be some big points up for grabs here. Always worth reminding yourself that ahead of a race.

Definitely preferred the new route this year was so much nicer. Knowing you haven’t got to run through that field and up the hill by the farm twice was a relief. ( once on those is Definitely enough 😂) Took it easy up the hills but pushed when I could. Didn’t enjoy the first half but felt comfortable on the second half think its cos on the second part you could get into a rthym. The lady who came 3rd actually used me as a pacer for last 2km but shot off at end. Happy with 4th though. Never ever thought that would be me!

Again further evidence of how far you’ve come and hopefully some motivation to keep training and potentially next year break into that top 3. I do agree with you about the route, a massive improvement. Fantastic running Lindsey and so many positives to take. Congratulations on winning the team prize as well. That made me very happy 😁
