Robertsbridge Midsummer 10K

LOAD: 41

2km WU @ Easy Pace (RPE: 2)

10k @ HM Pace (RPE: 6-9)

2km @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

A new route for 2025 so it’s only 1 lap for the 10k. Quite an undulating course with some trails so likely your pace will be quite a bit slowly than a normal 10k. Good Luck.

A really nice race this. No need to go chasing times or specific paces. Work hard, dig deep up the hills and finish strongly. If the effort level is there then you will continue to make gains. Very best of luck Michelle.

First time for me doing this race 😊 in my head I was really hoping for 1 hour and so I was so pleased with my time 😊 and how this run went. I felt consistent and although tired in mile 5 had a voice pop In to my head saying good form and think about how I was holding myself and it helped. I pushed hard right to the end. It was warm and hilly but I think my recent training really helped with this.

This is great. Really pleased to hear that change of mindset. It’s one of the most powerful tools as runners to focus on form when the moments get tough. To be that mindful about posture, movement, with the sunsetting on a beautiful evening, they are moments to treasure, even if it is hard work. Fantastic running Michelle.
