Full Body Gym Workout

LOAD: 15

Focus mainly on legs & core. 4-5 leg exercises, 3 core and a couple of upper body exercises would make up a well rounded session. Take advantage of the gym equipment if you can.

All the usuals goblet squat/deadlift/weighted step up/hip raises or whatever they are called :-). chest press/rows/russian twists and dead bugs. Finishing with practicing the cossack squat with TRX. Good old stretch after. Will soon be time to up the weight or change the excersises to keep the challenge there.

Sounds ideal. But don’t feel you need to change too much up. If you find something that works, just make a few tweaks. Progress the squat for instance, Goblet squat to single leg squat for example. But the best results come from those on the team who just keep it simple and consistent. Those that play around with their S&C too much are the ones picking up the injuries. Well done Sue.
