parkrun

LOAD: 25

10 Mins WU @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)
8 x 100 metre Strides (RPE: 8)

parkrun @ 5km Pace (RPE: 8)

10 Mins CD @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

Running with others can reduce perceived effort so parkrun is a good option as an alternative speed session. 10 mins easy WU & CD please.

H2H v Michael? Is that right. If so, keep going, even if off your target, because you never know he could be struggling. Good luck.

Not sure what to say about the parkrun. Started off well good pace first half. Then started to get some chest pain. Struggled back to finish. Least said about post parkrun then better. About 50 seconds slower than my best this year but faster than Spring 5. In hind sight I shouldn’t have done it or only walked it.

Are you ok Sue? That’s all that matters now. I think in hindsight, the minute you got that chest pain, it would have been sensible to stop. But what’s happened as happened now and it’s important going forward that you take more precautions with your health. Obviously the hospital did you zero favours with their advice last week. I’m obviously very cautious in what I set you going forward, and making sure your health is right has to be the priority. But we can always chat once you have more information from the hospital.
