Long Run – 120 Mins

LOAD: 35

120 Mins @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3-5)

2 hours is a long time to run and it’s likely it will get tough in the last 30 mins. So dig deep, focus on good form and keep going. You got this!

Split the run into 2 one hour blocks, first part a few hills, 2nd seafront, could have with a new tee-shirt after the 1st half, the seafront part was tough due to the humidity.

Well done Mark. Thanks for leading a group. My only observation and this purely selfish from a coaching point of view and yourself continuing to progress is that you may find yourself running slower in a group like this than say my group. At the end of the day you did 2 hours which is great and I know your run was hillier than mine, but in comparison Lou M, who you are quicker than, covered an extra 2km. So just something to bear in mind. Don’t be afraid to lead a group like this and run your own pace. I did exactly that and it worked out ok. Everyone in the group respects that as long as you loop back.
