Do you remember your first race at the Barry Richards all those years ago and how good it felt to do 6 miles? So regardless of the time this takes, you’ve still come a long way to be able to sign up to a race of this length. Walking the hills is strategic and in no way a failure. The best ultra runners in the World walk hills. So keep that positivity, even if the pace feels slow and you need to walk at times. 15 miles is still an excellent achievement.
