30 Mins Easy

LOAD: 6

30 Mins @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

Sometimes a 30 minute shake out can help recovery or just give you some much needed head space. Keep it easy.

Had some family issues which meant I couldn’t do anything on Monday and Tuesday. Just wanted to get an easy run in today so did 45 mins. Hopefully back on it in the next few days.

No worries. I appreciate things like that will crop up from time, well done for doing the extra. If you feel like you’ve missed out and want to catch up, one way of doing that would add on some extra to Saturday perhaps. An extra 20 mins at the end of a 2 hour run is worth the same training points as 40 mins easy. Reason being you’re doing that in a fatigued state and on tired legs. It’s not essential but just having that awareness that if you feel like you are falling behind there are ways to make amends. Or say Friday evening if you were feeling strong you could drop me a message and ask for a tougher Saturday morning run. Something like 2 x 20 mins @ MP and 1 x 20 mins @ HMP gets you an extra 16 training pts without having to run anymore length of time, obviously you need to work much harder, but you get the point (I hope 😂🤦‍♂️)
