60 Min Easy & Strides

LOAD: 20

60 Mins @ Easy Pace (RPE: 2-3)

8 x 100 metre Strides (RPE: 8)
60 Second Recoveries

Keep the effort level to around 3 or 4 on the RPE scale. Focus on good form and don’t get lazy. Often the best run of the week 😁 Do those Strides (or else)

FEEDBACK

ENJOYMENT

RPE

😁 Good pace given the conditions/route

PACE

Well actually the pacing of the 5 mile group is bloody hard they went out of horntye at 10.5 min miling and I tried to hold them back but it was hard. Luckily my sneaky putting in old roar road, park view and then accidentally putting in vale road slowed them down but I accidentally got lost so we had 5.6 miles! Luckily Jim was there to stop me from ducking out of strides! So smashed those out too.

Yeah if the group tear off at a faster pace there isn’t much you can do to be fair. So I do understand that from Nick’s point of view. I just think when he has slower runners too he does the same pace. Hey ho. Thanks for leading, always appreciated and glad Jim made you do your strides as they are crucial to that sub 25 goal. Well done Lou.
