30 Mins Easy

LOAD: 9

30 Mins @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

Sometimes a 30 minute shake out can help recovery or just give you some much needed head space. Keep it easy.

I know you’re only up to 28 mins, so if you need to break this down into 3 x 10 (or something along those lines) that is fine. Same applies to Wednesday’s session. I also realise that the term “Easy Run” is a bit misleading, given the level you are at right now. So ignore that. If the RPE creeps up and you start to work hard, keep going, that means you are getting fitter. Don’t be afraid to work hard in these sessions and get the heart pumping. Let me know about a 1-2-1 and we can get that booked in at some stage.

🙄 Just a fraction slow

PACE

Managed to run for 30 minutes with no walking. Legs felt great. Very happy with how this run went. Was tough but didn’t feel overly tired. Has given me some confidence after I couldn’t manage to run for 30 mins on Saturday .

Fantastic. Glad you enjoyed it too and as you say a real confidence boost going forward. It’s a really good starting point for this plan and we can now build on this going forward. Well done Lucy.
