A really good session where you can work on your speed and form. Important that you are going quicker than your current 5k pace to make gains.

This is the AM session. Hopefully on the track. PM is hills on Grange Avenue (20 x 30 secs)

I felt pretty good today altho it was pretty hot. Also probably first time this year I didn’t have any hip pain at all. Hopefully it stays that way. Just signed up to London Landmarks half marathon next year too. No more marathons, sticking to half’s now!

So pleased you were able to get this one done and enjoy it. Great news about the hip, fingers crossed that’s the sign of things to come. There are so many fantastic half marathons these days, there’s no real need to do marathons, they are such a slog. London Landmarks is one I would love to do and I keep hearing amazing things about Hackney too. Glad the positivity is returning, it makes me very happy. Well done Rachael.
