6 Miles Tempo (M)

LOAD: 29

1 Mile WU @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

6 Miles @ Marathon Pace (RPE: 5)

1 Mile CD @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

A chance to add some extra miles at Marathon Pace. The more you practice the pace the more comfortable it will feel on race dace.

Just that fraction quicker here and hopefully that will lead to you running with better form.

FEEDBACK

ENJOYMENT

RPE

👊 Nailed my target

PACE

Ankle pain almost gone. Was nervous to run on it so opted for the flat stability of the treadmill. No pain and felt fantastic, wanted to keep going. So pleased. Will do Sundays run outside.

I can’t tell you how happy this has made me feel. I think given your recent injury history there’s probably always going to be additional anxiety when it comes to injuries. But I think just use this one as a reminder in future that these aches and pains can sort themselves out fairly quickly. But really well done Lou. This is massive positive and hopefully you’ll be fine again on Sunday.
