30 Mins & Strides

LOAD: 13

30 Mins @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

8 x 100 metre Strides (RPE: 8)
60 Second Recoveries

Sometimes a 30 minute shake out can help recovery or just give you some much needed head space. Keep it easy. Strides are crucial here.

🤬 Way off pace today

PACE

I’ve got some serious pain in my right hip, which is then shooting down my leg. No strides. Probably shouldn’t have run at all. Could you send me some stretches please. Hate being injured!

Fuck! That is not good. Rest up. Don’t do anything else until that feels better. 95% of injuries are overuse which suggest the training pts we are working at right now is too high. So I’ll tweak that going forward slightly to ensure we try and avoid an injury. Especially as you stayed injury free for so long doing those big miles before joining me. It can be a fine line sometimes but if we react soon enough then hopefully we can avoid that going forward. I’m always a quality over quantity coach so will just ease off a touch going forward. I’ll message you some stretches.
