80 Mins

LOAD: 24

80 Mins @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

Try and keep it easy. It all depends on your current level. If slowly adding time to your long run the last 10-20 mins might be tough. Focus on good form.

Recovery week which is why there is less miles. Crucial to take these every 4th week.

Made it 90 mins, as I missed a session earlier in the week. Did a nice loop of Bexhill, which was really enjoyable. For some reason, I much prefer a loop route than an out and back. 8:40 min/miles felt very comfortable, with a nice average HR of under 140. This time last year, I would’ve needed to run over 9 min/miles to feel that comfortable. Really grateful for that level of fitness. Looking forward to a full week of injury-free training 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Smart move for adding a little bit extra on. Always happy if you want to message me to check what the best time would be (if missing a previous run) and the plans are quite precise these days. As you say it’s so nice to be able to move at a decent pace and for it to feel easy. That gratitude is very important to embrace. Well done Joe.
