60 Mins & Strides

LOAD: 22

60 Mins @ Easy Pace (RPE: 2-3)

8 x 100 metre Strides (RPE: 8)
60 Second Recoveries

Best done in a group!! Keep the RPE down, so you should be able to chat. Don’t forget those strides. They are very important. Enjoy.

ENJOYMENT

RPE

👊 Nailed my target

PACE

I was 5 mins short but I wasn’t worried as I knew I had to do another 24 mins with walk to run. Strides were good except when Steve decided to join in I did tell him not to do it if he wasn’t warmed up. He should know better as a level 2 coach 🤣! Then he tweaked his hamstring. Katy joined me and Maria and Mandy did a couple. I was encouraging then to try track or efforts. Anyway enough of Steve. My vo2 max has increased. ☺️

Yes!!! Great work on the VO2 Max. Love that!! It’s good to encourage others as well, as they will see you doing these different things. It makes me happy to know so many of HR are doing strides now. Granted nearly all Team Orange, but that was just never a thing in the past. As for Steve, yes other than advise there is not much that you can do, hopefully he is is ok. And no worries on the 5 mins, especially when you have W2R to follow. Awesome work Lou.
