The opportunity to hit your 10k goal time in one session, albeit with rests in between. But this is a really good session for those of you with a specific goal time in mind for 10k.

If we can hit sub 4 min kms here on average it will suggest the sub 40 is on. Anywhere between 3:50 – 3:59 is perfect.

I’ve put ‘nailed my target’ on pace, but it may have been a tad fast. Averaged 6:09 min/mile. It felt fairly comfortable though, so I’m pleased about that. We could be on for a sub 40…we shall see. Fairly certain I’m on for a 5km PB too in the not too distant future

To be honest I’m not sure you can go “too fast” here, if you maintain that pace throughout then that’s a sign where the fitness is at. Obviously you’d want to pace it a bit slower on race day, but not by much and the fact you felt comfortable is a huge sign that next Thursday should go well. Fantastic running Joe, so impressed by this.
