Barry Richards 10K

LOAD: 45

2km WU @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)
4-8 Strides x 100 Metres (RPE: 8)

10K @ 10K Pace (RPE: 7)

2km CD @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

An excellent opportunity to run a fast 10K. As with any 10k, be sure not to go off too fast, lots of the other runners will be, so settle into your target pace early on and then really dig deep after the turnaround.

You’re running well right now and this should be a very good race for you. The most important thing with a 10k is getting that early pace dialled in and not going too quickly. 7:30 per mile approx is a good target, anything quicker at the start and just ease back, trusting you are saving energy for a big push at the end. Very best of luck Dan. Excited to see what time you run here. You got this.

Fantastic running Dan. It’s good to see the rewards for your running and nice to hear the compliments from the others runners who you left behind in the last 2km.
