4 x 2 Miles

LOAD: 50

1 Mile WU @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

2 Miles @ Half Marathon Pace (RPE: 6-8)
1 Mile @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)
x 4

A big half marathon session for those who like to work in miles. A real opportunity to practice goal pace and build some confidence ahead of your race. Each rep will get progressively tougher, so dig deep towards the end of this one.

This is where the magic happens.

FEEDBACK

ENJOYMENT

RPE

🙄 Just a fraction slow

PACE

This was hard changed the session slightly, did the warm Up then 2 miles half marathon speed, one mile easy 2 miles half marathon speed (really struggled with these two) either a float and did the Parkrun legs were not just not in it today. But dug deep and managed to get a half decent Parkrun out of it! Then did a cool down. We all them sessions so back to working hard!

It’s important to note that every session isn’t going to be a roaring success. Just like every race. And Brighton earlier in the year made you stronger and more determined. So hopefully the odd session not at pace will do the same, keep you motivated to come back next time, work equally as hard and hopefully hit the paces. You’re still running at your peak right now and it’s great to see. Well done Jack.
