An excellent opportunity to run a fast 10K. As with any 10k, be sure not to go off too fast, lots of the other runners will be, so settle into your target pace early on and then really dig deep after the turnaround.

Best way to approach this is to be cautious in those first 4km, make sure you’re running at your pace. Go off too hard and you’ll have a miserable 2nd half. Get it right and the minute you turn, you can switch into race mode and hunt down those who might have gone to quickly. Very best of luck. You’re still running really well so should approach this race with a lot of confidence. Go and smash it Fin.
