4 x 2 Miles

LOAD: 50

1 Mile WU @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

2 Miles @ Half Marathon Pace (RPE: 6-8)
1 Mile @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)
x 4

A big half marathon session for those who like to work in miles. A real opportunity to practice goal pace and build some confidence ahead of your race. Each rep will get progressively tougher, so dig deep towards the end of this one.

Only 2 more of these tough half marathon sessions and these are your opportunity to really improve your fitness ahead of HHM and run the time you want on October 5th. You got this Klare, you’re running really well right now.

FEEDBACK

ENJOYMENT

RPE

🤬 Way off pace today

PACE

First half I felt strong and was nailing the pace but the second half was just horrid!! Gave up with the pacing and was just happy to make it back 🤣 We all have these bad sessions!! Makes the good ones feel better 😊

Good attitude to end with in truth and important not to overthink it. These kind of sessions on any hills are tough. I’ve found they are sometimes better done with parkrun included. That seems to have worked well for a lot of the team of late, rather than trying to do them as part of the long run when everyone else is running at different paces and running easier. Well done though Klare, still some really good miles banked.
