120 Mins

LOAD: 36

120 Mins @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

Long runs are a crucial part of any plan. You’ll need to do these to improve. Again running with a group can really help. Be sure to hydrate and fuel.

FEEDBACK

ENJOYMENT

RPE

😁 Good pace given the conditions/route

PACE

I’ve really enjoyed running with Martin Turner the last few weeks. While the others push ahead and break a sweat, myself and Martin settle in at our comfortable Sunday pace. We did a version of HHM and averaged 9’15” pace. We finished at 1hr 48’ and I was still short of twelve miles distance. Felt my heart pumping going up Filsham Road but didn’t push it too hard.

Martin is great. Such a lovely bloke and a really good runner. It’s nice when you have that company, especially as the group has got quicker. I think keeping these easy has probably helped you stay fresh for those quicker more important sessions, so you’re training really smart right now. Well done Conal.
