The biggest mistake we can make with these recovery runs is running too fast. This will mean when our harder sessions come round we are still fatigued and not able to put enough effort in to make the necessary gains.

Well that was one for hills and steps! A monster session even for Steve’s standards! Not as much consistent running as Weds session but stayed at the front and got some faster paces going at some points Think this run is great for my Stamina and Aerobic capacity! I’ll prob do this run every 2 to 3 weeks! Really enjoyable run and handled all the hills well. Considering if been training on the flat think I did well!:

Always happy if you want to include this in the plan, the only danger is getting into any bad habits of stop and starting, so if you can minimize that when running with this group it will help.
