Plan 6 – Week 10

Starting to have a little think now about what I might like to focus on after this plan.

Discomfort rather than pain. Although the odd nerve pinch is horrible. But otherwise just feeling a pull sensation from my mid back to glute

SUMMARY

  • Plan: πŸ™„ Not hitting my targets
  • Pts: βœ… Yes, it feels right

INJURIES/NIGGLES πŸš‘

The usual back and glute

  • Pain Level: : 3/4 /10

COACH

Give you the 100% as you squeezed in that 30 min run Monday. I think sometimes just reflecting on the overall picture can give us more pleasure. If you’ve rewound say 3 months and said in August you’re not only going to run a marathon, but you’re going feel fine doing it and not even need anytime off, you’d have responded “don’t be ridiculous”. So this is a hugely positive week. I also love that swimming feedback and you should feel quite smug (perhaps not the right word) about that, it’s a great compliment to get from a coach. Swimming is such a good form of cross training and I’m seeing that with more of the team. It also makes it exciting that you could get fitter and faster without running more miles, knowing that there are other options like that which limit the impact that running does. I’m really pleased with how things are going right now given what you’ve had to deal with. Great week Alice!
