COACH

I think given the circumstances a decent week. If I’m honest, the only thing worrying me right now is the mindset. I understand why you would be a little nervous, but try not to put any pressure on yourself. Rewind to our first meeting in the park, was that 18 months ago? I can’t remember now. But imagine us listing what you’ve achieved during that meeting. We would have all sat there with huge smiles on our faces. So it’s important not to forget the successes to date. Yes this is a little blip, but more my fault than yours for the length of the plan. But that’s what I’ve said from the get go and why I charge Β£25 a month compared to the Β£50+ most coaches charge because I’m learning all the time and working with runners like yourself is giving me that opportunity to become a better coach. And hopefully for yourself, whatever path you take, keeping future plans to 16 weeks max will again bring the best out of you. Really hope the week off makes a difference and if it does, I’m confidence race day will be a massive success.
