Plan 5 – Week 7

  • 25th August 2025

Nothing to report here

It’s been a good week, I feel I’ve regained momentum and rediscovered the pleasure of running.ย  I know I sometimes overdo RPE and easy runs can feel more like 5-6 but I hope that as long as I’m enjoying the runs that’s OK.ย  Looking forward to what coach comes up with for next week’s plan, leading to Budapest half.

Usually comes on after exertion followed by rest. Standing with good posture provokes the pain and forward slouching (as in ‘elderly people crossing’) completely gets rid of it! – but I don’t intend to give in to thatย  as I want to stay upright as long as possible.

SUMMARY

  • Week: ๐Ÿ˜ Feeling really pleased
  • Plan: ๐Ÿ˜ Feeling good
  • Pts: โœ… Yes, it feels right

INJURIES/NIGGLES ๐Ÿš‘

backs of legs is still a niggle but I can work with it

COACH

Sorry to hear about the back and yes adopting the bent over posture to relieve pain would be a bad idea and probably only leading to further complications. Really pleased to hear you enjoyed the weeks training though and that’s an important part of working to a training plan. Hopefully things ease up next week and you can head to Budapest feeling confident and fresh, well done Sarah.
