Plan 5 – Week 13

60 mins + strides – I had the best intention of getting done and then things (kids, food shopping and a filling at the dentist) got in the way and there wasn’t time. I feel guilt about this.

All else went to plan. Felt good doing the 10 x 2mins – I was pleased with my effort.

Sunday run – brutal hills. Glad I wasn’t by myself.

No injury issues

Muscles tight after long run - no injury though.

COACH

With Sunday’s extra 30 mins and with those hills the missed 60 mins was pretty much accounted for, so absolutely no reason to feel guilty. It’s the runners on the team who don’t engage or are not honest about what they are doing that leave me frustrated, so as long as you keep me in the loop I can do my job and make tweaks if need be. Was great to have you a long Sunday and a decent pace for a 2 hour run with those hills. You should be very pleased.
