parkrun

LOAD: 30

10 Mins WU @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)
8 x 100 metre Strides (RPE: 8)

parkrun @ 5km Pace (RPE: 8)

10 Mins CD @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

Running with others can reduce perceived effort so parkrun is a good option as an alternative speed session. 10 mins easy WU & CD please.

Happy to extend strides to 6 x 100 metres and 10 mins WU & CD. Good luck.

Great run today. Was a little nervous this morning as my Garmin informed me I’m a little tired! Change over of meds this week has led to some sleepless nights! But went ahead and did my warmup and strides! All went well very happy with my strides pace! Main parkrun was great! Kept it steady and knocked 30 seconds off my time! The plan is working! Cooldown was a struggle but got it done! Very happy overall!

Every reason to be happy. Well done on knocking another 30 seconds off. That’s brilliant. It’s nice when you see the rewards for the hard work. You’re smashing it right now, so keep up the great work. Hope you manage to catch up your sleep. Cool downs can sometimes feel worse than the actual 5km but they are always worth doing, unless you are completely broken. Well done Lucy.
