Kings Head Canter

LOAD: 25

2km WU @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

5km @ 5k Pace (RPE: 8)

2km CD @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

Not really a PB course with kilometres 2, 3 and 4 all gentle uphill before a downhill finish. A great event though with a lovely atmosphere at the finish. It’s a point to point so plan where you are going to park.

Hopefully you are feeling well rested after the weekend off. No aims here, other than staying positive when the head tries to tell you to stop. The last km is great down the hill, so conserve a bit of energy for a strong finish. Good luck Lou.

FEEDBACK

ENJOYMENT

RPE

😁 Good pace given the conditions/route

PACE

My hip is being a real arsehole but when I run it doesn’t hurt! Anyway it was a bit hot out there. I started right at the back so actually if you look at my 5k time it’s as good as park run! So I’ll take that! Think efforts is a no no this week.

Excellent running Lou!! I think in those conditions with the hills and the arsehole hip, you did really well. As mentioned in the chat, take the week off and then we can go again but I think you’re running really well right now and hopefully going forward you can continue to make those gains.
