Plan 1 – Week 9

  • 25th August 2025

Felt like a bit of strange week, but I was recovering from running 47 miles, so that’s understandable. Positive note of the week is actually did the strides! Haha. Don’t really think I’ve got anything else to add, so if I think of anything I’ll message you

This seems to be a quite a regular niggle for me, but rarely does it get any worse. I’m stretching more than I was, but could probably still stretch more

SUMMARY

  • Week: 🙄 Not quite good enough
  • Plan: 😁 Feeling good
  • Pts: ✅ Yes, it feels right

INJURIES/NIGGLES 🚑

Slight hamstring niggle in my right leg, when I run

  • Pain Level: : 2/10

COACH

I think it was always going to be a week of listening to the body after the 75km run, so I wouldn’t worry that we fell short of the target, it’s probably a positive in truth. The key to any plan like this is come the end we average the target we set out at the beginning. If that can be done as consistently as possible, then great, but that’s rarely the case in truth. The good thing is we are keeping on top of it every week so we can make those adjustments where need be. Let me know about Wednesday and if you do need to tweak the schedule, that’s fine.
