Plan 1 – Week 10

  • 25th August 2025

Hi I missed Wednesday which was supposed to be an hour run and then strides. Core work was missed Thursday as well as I rested my leg. Sunday I missed my 2hr run but got an 1hour and 15 mins in that evening. Really annoying my leg as I’m loving the running. Got an appointment next Monday 😊

Enjoying the plan not so much the leg πŸ˜†

COACH

Sorry to hear about the leg and I understand how frustrating it can be. It’s annoying as I know you’re running really well right now. Tuesday session does concern me a little, as running uphill is going to test the calf a lot more. My suggestion would be so how you feel Tuesday morning and then let me know. Any pain in the calf and hill reps is not the right option and we can always find an alternative. As I say, Battle 10k on the Sunday is also possible, as lots of us will be there, if you fancied doing that, but again might be a case of waiting a few days to see what happens withΒ  the leg. We can always adjust the plan going forward to make up for a the odd missed session so don’t worry about it too much. I still feel like you’re running well right now.
