🤬 Way off pace today

PACE

I’ve had a bit of a struggle getting everything in this week. So planned to do this with parkrun for the second half. I gave it a go but I was honestly not feeling good at all. I’m exhausted. It was like dragging 2 lead tree trunks around and getting to my target marathon pace felt like a battle. I saw the osteopath yesterday so might just be a knock on from the treatment, but I’ve had a really stressful few weeks at home and at work so could also be my body holding all the stress as pain. My watch keeps shouting at my to rest. It’s not been a particularly stressful week training wise so I think it’s more from life stress.

Sorry to hear this. But well done for giving it a go. Hopefully you can get some relaxation time over the weekend and feel better. Good to recognise those extra demands though and just shout if you do ever need me to ease back on the training so you can absorb some of the other stuff going on.
