Plan 2 – Week 5

I feel good for my half marathon in October and feel like I’ll go comfortably under 1.30 (it’s a fairly flat race and lower altitude). Marathon’s the big one tho and I still feel I need more discipline at times to reach my marathon goals

No injury issues

COACH

That marathon session was class and for me that puts you well ahead of schedule. It’s great because it will allow us that opportunity to focus attention to the half for a few weeks and then pick up where you left off to finish the block ahead of the marathon. For me, and hopefully you have the same experience, marathon pace is just fun, because it feels controlled, RPE is quite low, but also like you’re moving at a decent clip. So it’s good to enjoy these sessions. Quality week though Ben, do what you can this week whilst away and always drop me a message if you want to discuss scheduling.
