Rye Ancient Trails 30K

LOAD: 85

5 Mins WU @ Easy Pace (RPE: 2)

30K @ Target Pace (RPE: 4-8)

Such a fantastic event on some beautiful trails. Your pace will be determined by your goals and whether you are racing or treating it as an easy run. Training pts will also vary depending on your pace goals. Good luck.

Stay with or in front of Sam was the goal. So ignored that watch and enjoyed the time out. Stopped at each water station and to pose for pics, even stopped for a quick kiss with Rachel. 20mins quicker than last year and I feel great. Definitely paying off this marathon plan. So huge thank you for where I am. You looked like you had a great run too. Sorry for shooting off. But, Vicky’s train got cancelled and she needed to get home.

I feel like I got to experience the joy of your race through some of your photos 😂 which made me really happy. Sometimes the benefits of marathon training are not the actual marathon time itself but doing a race like this and feeling strong towards the end. No worries about shooting off. We all have to go at some point. I eventually left around 4:45 on the clock in desperate need of some food and ended up missing the last few runners by 20 mins. But these things can’t be helped. I think as a club and a team we do a good job of supporting each other. Roll on Chester.
