240 Mins

LOAD: 72

240 Mins @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3-8)

All about time on feet. Don’t push the pace early on and ensure you are well hydrated and have fuel to take on at regular intervals.

Have fun!

FEEDBACK

ENJOYMENT

RPE

👊 Nailed my target

PACE

Really enjoyed that one and my head really needed it. So pleased with how I handled the hills, having ran up more of the tough ones than I ever have in the past. When I first did that route in January , albeit a couple of miles longer, the pace was 1:15 a mile slower than today. Very happy with that progress, then hopefully I’ll hit my target at next year’s SDW50

That’s a massive improvement and shows how well you are doing. I actually had a 40 minute phone call with Anna prior to her South Coast Challenge just to basically tell her where she needed to be walking on the route (she doesn’t like walking) and it helped her massively. I think Ultra’s are a lot about strategy and time management and you can get that right as well as being well prepared, I think there is room for some big gains. But well done on this run, another excellent week banked.
